The
writer has to unfold the story and the characters on the page; the
actors have to bring it to life, in the body and in the space. How to
get there, is closer than you think, and we believe the two processes
can inspire each other and then, it’s fun entertaining!
This workshop will concentrate on what is character and how to unfold
it using the tecnique from Sanford Meisner, a system of exercises
focusing on the understanding of the moment. What information is needed
to bring a character to life, to make it fysical? With exercises on the
floor, little acting assignments and looking at the students written
material, we will try to inspire their writing process in order to
create great characters.

Ken Vedsegaard
is a profesional actor and theatre director. Graduated from The
National School of Acting at Aarhus Theatre 1996-2000. Filmography: Herbie:

"Sidste Time" (1995), "Fede tider" (1996), "Det forsømte

Sarah Boberg
is a professional
actress and teaches at the Danish Acting School and at the National
Filmschool, developing workshops with screenplaywriters and film
directors.
